More than a year in development, IDimager V5 represents the company’s most comprehensive release to date. Sporting an extensive set of new features and enhancements, this latest release of IDimager is more intuitive, powerful, faster, and just plain more fun to use.

IDimager V5 puts you in control of your workflow, and gives you the power and flexibility you need in a digital asset management (DAM) tool. New features in IDimager V5 include:

• Windows 7 support: IDimager V5 is now fully compliant with Windows 7, both 32 and 64 bit editions. Windows Vista and XP 32 and 64 bit systems are supported as well.
• speech labeling: IDimager V5 is the first DAM tool to introduce speech labeling. With a microphone or headset attached to your computer, you can label images using voice-controlled commands.
• face labeling: The new face labeling module will speed up the process of identifying people in your images. The found faces will be outlined in the images and shown as thumbs in a sortable list. You can use the standard labeling function to simply name either a single face or a group of faces.
• new label assignment panel: The new Label Assignment Panel makes cataloging a breeze. Labels for selected images are immediately visible in the panel as active buttons. From there you can add, remove, or edit labels with just one or two mouse clicks or by using the keyboard. To further speed up your workflow, you can create your own label sets with combinations of labels you frequently use, and you can choose to assign keyboard shortcuts to these sets to assign multiple labels with one keystroke.
• a feature-rich download tool: IDimager V5 is quite possibly the most advanced image downloader in the market today. But even more importantly, it is fully integrated with the rest of the application, so once you download your images, much of your cataloging work has already been done for you!
• non-destructive editing: IDimager V5 supports non-destructive editing, providing capabilities that are typically only found in high-end image editors. But because IDimager's powerful editing functions are fully integrated into the main application, you can streamline your workflow while making your images look the best that they can be. And you can even edit your pictures while your images are off-line.
• enhanced GEO labeling support: IDimager takes GPS- and geo-location editing seriously, and IDimager V5 features a completely redesigned GPS panel. You can use the GPS panel to assign geo-location data to any image or label in your IDimager catalog. GPS panel also supports track logging devices, which provide an ideal way for the user to accurately supply geo-location data for a large number of images.

IDimager V5 is now available globally in English, German, Italian and Dutch as an electronic software download (ESD). The product is available in two versions: "Personal Edition" and "Professional Edition".
